Radio ISLA 106
Is een initiatief van de Nederlandse DJ Peter Gelderblom, dat uitzendt op Ibiza, Mallorca, Formentera, Costa Blanca, Costa del Sol en de Canarische eilanden in Spanje.[1] Het is een Spaans Radiostation Radio Isla 106 Ibiza + Mallorca, dat uitzend via de FM frequentie, alsook hun programma's streamt via het internet en daardoor wereldwijd is te beluisteren.[2][3]
ISLA 106 uit de lucht?
Met ingang van 25 november 2023 komt er zonder enige reactie of persbericht vanuit ISLA 106 plotseling een einde aan de radio uitzendingen.[4]
Herstart ISLA 106
Op 15 december 2023 komt de live stream van ISLA zonder aankondiging weer in de lucht. De website komt op 18 december ook weer online en volgt er tevens een persbericht op Facebook[5]. Volgens het persbericht waren de uitzendingen gestaakt vanwege de gezondheid van de oprichter en eigenaar van het radiostation Peter Gelderblom. Door de gezondsheidsproblemen is hij niet in staat om zijn werk voort te zetten. In januari 2024 gaat ISLA 106 weer uitzenden met een aanpaste live programmering geheel in de spirit van de oprichter.[6][7]
SAM Ibiza Radio
Met ingang van 15 februari 2024 is Radio ISLA 106 omgedoopt tot SAM Ibiza Radio (Seriously Amazing Music)![8] De nieuwe eigenaar is Sam Anders, die ook al vaste DJ was bij Radio ISLA 106.
